Look out world because these young women who are about to compete in the Miss America Preliminary, are intelligent, articulate, highly motivated, caring, talented, ambitious and hard working. They are passionate about their platform issues and are major contributors to public service. They exemplify leadership skills, strength of character and spirit…THEY ALL touch lives. We are PROUD of who they are and what they have accomplished to get to this place.
ALL OF THEM ARE WINNERS for competing and each of them has the same opportunity to represent the city of Mankato. We applaud them!
Samantha will crown the new Miss Mankato in one week! She has been so dedicated and passionate about serving the community of Mankato. We have not heard the last of Samantha Phillippi Miss Mankato 2010!
Miss Mankato 2010 Samantha Phillippi and Miss Minnesota 2010 Kathryn Knuttila will crown Miss Mankato 2011 on Saturday, November 13, at 7:00PM. It will be held at the Fitzgerald Middle School Theater,110 North 5th Street.
Tickets are $12 each....or $10 in advance and $10 at the door with a donation to the Mankato Echo Food Shelf.
