ECFE of Mankato we thank you! First for being the educators of our community! Second for allowing Jennifer share her story of Autism, the delicious lunch and having Jennifer perform for your staff! Through the commitment and work of strong educators like ECFE , we know Autism is treatable and one day we will have a cure, and that there is a reason to hope.

Famous Boone and Erickson WCCO radio duo

Boone and Erickson, the legendary WCCO radio duo met Miss Mankato at the 2007 Mankato Senior Expo. I could not have been more impressed with Charlie Boone and Roger Erickson. They are celebrities, entertainers, icons in radio, and two of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met. They told Jennifer they were honored to be photographed with her!
I adour these guys!

City of Mankato Manager Pat Hentges poses with Miss Mankato Jennifer Hudspeth at the Senior Expo. Over 3000 people attended the event. Jennifer was there to greet everyone! She later sang two songs to a crowd. Many seniors also helped out in a question and answer sessin with Jennifer. Thanks Senior Expo attendees for the interview session with Jennifer.

Miss Mankato met Miss Heart of the Lakes Kathryn Knuttila for the first time at Miss America this past January. They found out at contestant forum that they will be roommates at Miss MN week. I think it's fate!!

Sertoma "Service to Mankind " Banquet

Miss Mankato 2007 Jennifer Hudspeth addressed 117 people who attended the 2007 Sertoma Service to Mankind Banquet. It was held Friday, March 30th at the Mankato Holiday Inn.

Jennifer spoke on volunteerism and on her platform then entertained everyone with her talent, singing " My New Philosophy"

Jasmine Bartlett Miss Mankato Teen was awarded

PageantryMagazines "Spirit Award" at the Miss Minnesota Teen America Pageant held February 17th in Minneapolis. Jasmine's picture will be in an upcoming issue of Pageantry Magazine. Her award was presented by former Miss Mankato 2006 Amber Kelley.

Jasmine's evening gown is a Rodney Alfred.

We had a great time at Miss America! We had some of the best seats for pre lims Saturday night, and then enjoyed Miss America's final night from the top! No matter where your seat was it was still amazing to be there!

Jennifer Hudspeth a recent graduate of Minnesota State University Mankato. After being crowned at Mankato West High School Saturday night, she stopped by KEYC and talked about her platform. Jennifer will now go on to compete at the Miss Minnesota pageant in June. If she wins, she will then go on to Miss America in 2008.
