I met a COURAGEOUS young man today!
Ethan is pictured to my left with his brother Sam and his friends. They were at the Applebees door egar to greet everyone who attended the Mankato Applebees Pancake Fundraiser.
Today was about a community coming together for an adorable 9 year old and his family. Ethan Rittmiller is a young man who was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy on March 25th of this year, meaning his heart cannot stretch to fill with blood properly. He is in need of a new heart.
I wanted to go and show my support and thank everyone for attending. I was amazed at what a community can do when they come together. Family, co-workers, friends, and even strangers came out to show support for Ethan and his family. Thank you to Applebees in Mankato, host to the Pancake fundraiser, all the volunteers, and the GENEROUS donations and bidders on the silent auction. So many acts of kindness made a difference for Ethan.
Please pray for Ethan and his family as they go through this emotional journey.
